well, shit.

I'm having problems with my beloved car. This is the second weekend in a row that I've had to have it in to the shop, not to mention I have another repair pending with the service department at a dealership. (Yes, it's complicated.) I think I'm going to finally have to admit that it's time to start looking for a new(er) car.

I am crushed. I adore my car. It's been my best friend and very loyal. And I must admit, part of my love came from the fact that the little fucker is paid off. I don't want a car payment right now.

Sigh. I don't know. For now, I'm crusing (geddit?) car sites online and looking at finance rates through my credit union and waiting nervously for the shop guys to call. Oh well, debt is the American way, right?

Edited to add ..... I had to get a rental tonight since my car will be in the shop for a few days and when I went to pick up my "compact car" I discovered they had given me a PT Cruiser. Big Pimpin!
