still sitting around

Wow, the one thing about a long vacation away from my apartment and job is that I am not spending all day in front of a computer, which makes it hard to keep up on my blog/journal reading and my Television Without Pity recaps. KeeperSister is very generous and lets me use her computer, but I figure the family would find me pretty rude if I just sat here for hours at a time. (I'm sure they find me rude for other reasons as well, but we won't go into that.) So if I haven't visitied your site for awhile, sorry, but I've been busy shoving home-cooking into my mouth and visiting with old friends. Yay, holidays!

I've gotten to spend some time with KeeperNieces which, as always, is a lot of fun. The two older girls (5 and 8) did my hair the other night, and I would post a picture except I am afraid that it might get me kicked off the Internet. (Or at least a suspension.) I had lunch yesterday and spent a good portion of the afternoon at my prior place of employment, catching up on all the gossip. And then I braved the Toys R Us store to pick up a few last minute presents.

Last night KeeperSis and I watched The Amazing Race (what is up with that "to be continued" bullshit) and I conned her in to helping me wrap some of my Christmas presents. Then overnight is snowed, so I have an excuse to continue sitting around the living room, waching daytime TV and, well, eating. Probably going to need some new jeans soon .... how you like me now?
