The frenzy of eating continues. I got chinese food from my favorite restaurant again last night (the second time since I've been home) and I'm already trying to figure out how to get it again before I leave on Thursday. Who would have thought that Farmland had the best Chinese food in the land? I was visiting KeeperNieces last night, and when I told them I had to leave to go pick up my dinner, and they heard it was Chinese food, they got very excited. The oldest was begging to come along. "I neeeeed it! I neeeed it to liiiiiiive!" Oh boy. Luckily I have learned to set boundries better than I did when they were younger, since it was late at night and cold and they had already had dinner and a snack. I'm babysitting them tonight and we are having a pizza party. Yes, it seems most of my activities here have revolved around food. Shut up.
I got a haircut yesterday, so I am all pretty again, and I had a visit with an old friend that I used to work with. ("A visit." That always seems so old fashioned to me, which totally does not describe my conversation with her, which involved fart humor and crude sexual humor. Heh.)
Exactly none of you asked what else I got for Christmas (besides the Star Wars DVD set and the "I'm a Pepper!" tshirt, so I will tell you: Sense and Sensibility on DVD ("Give me an occupation, Miss Dashwood, or I shall run mad!), X Files season two on DVD, a cool Old Navy shirt, a Get Fuzzy daily calendar, some bowls with cats on the side and paw prints on the inside, a check, another check, a Best Buy gift card which may go toward a Game Boy, Secrets of the iPod and some other things that I have probably totally forgotten because I am lame.
The snow is melting here and falling off the roof in big chunks and scaring me, so I am going upstairs to sit with my Mom. And eat cookies. SHUT UP!
